“永不落幕的南博会”在线展
在昆明正式启动!
The Everlasting China-South Asia Expo, or online expo, was launched in Kunming, Yunnan province on December 12.
首先，中共云南省委、省人民政府向现场及通过网络与会的中外嘉宾表示欢迎。
Yunnan acting governor Wang Yubo sent greeting to all guests either present at the venue or joining the event online, on behalf of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, Yunnan Government and all the ethnic folks in the province.
上午11时许，云南省委书记阮成发、云南代省长王予波及中外嘉宾共同按下启动按钮，揭开线上盛会序幕。
At round 11:00 am, Yunnan Party chief Ruan Chengfa, acting governor Wang Yubo and other dignitaries jointly pressed the button, unveiling the online expo.
巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、老挝、越南、缅甸5国的部级官员以视频致贺或连线方式出席;
Ministerial commercial officials from Pakistan,Sri-Lanka, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar attended the event via recorded congrats or video links.
老挝、柬埔寨、马来西亚、缅甸、越南、泰国、孟加拉国7国驻昆总领事出席了启动仪式。
In-Kunming consuls general of Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladesh were physically present at the opening.

The opening was followed by a series of online activities.
12日下午，“在线展”举行首场总领事直播活动。
在位于昆明滇池国际会展中心的越南国家形象馆里，
越南驻昆明总领事馆通过直播带货推介越南美食。
In the afternoon, the first consul-general live streaming of the online expo was held at the Vietnamese Pavilion at Kunming Dianchi Convention and Exhibition Center. The Vietnamese consul-general in Kunming promoted the Vietnamese snacks online.
“看!我们带来了许多越南美食!”
“有虾饼、咖啡、腰果、绿豆糕......”
“Look! We have various Vietnamese snacks here: prawn cakes, coffee, cashew nuts, green-bean cakes….”
对于越南驻昆明总领事馆商务领事杜国香来说，直播带货还是第一次。从深山纯天然蜂蜜到越南手工绣品，从产地到制作工序……杜国香介绍得十分详细。
The business consul in Kunming detailed on the authentic Vietnamese honey and embroideries, mentioning the origin and making-steps of the products.
越南驻昆明总领事馆领事郑国毅说：“本次‘在线展’为各国提供了很好的平台，企业可以通过这样的契机寻找到合作伙伴，这是非常有意义的。”
Another Vietnamese consul in Kunming said: “The online expo allows companies to seek business opportunities for cooperation, which is meaningful.”

燃起一把“云南火”。
The online expo is highlighted by the themed activity “Go Yunnan with Yu Rongguan.”
“云南是一个来了就不想走的地方，云南特色鲜明的地形和得天独厚的气候条件造就了丰富的生物多样性，现场展出的各类高品质‘云品’就是最好的证明。”中国知名演员于荣光说。
“Once you come to Yunnan, you won’t leave the place. The distinct geography and climate give rise to rich bio-diversity in the province, and you can see this from the high-quality Yunnan products here,” said Yu, a famed Chinese actor.
作为本次“永不落幕的南博会”在线展推广大使，于荣光在活动现场以边购物、边体验、边直播的形式，开展长达1小时的直播体验，向全世界观众一一推介特色“云品”。
As ambassador of The Everlasting China-South Asia Expo, Yu had a one-hour living streaming on Yunnan goods, with his shopping and experiencing activities reaching audience worldwide.
“我非常希望通过此次‘在线展’，让云南与南亚、东南亚甚至全世界之间更加了解，产生更多交流与合作的机会。”于荣光说。
“Via the online expo, I hoped Yunnan will be better known to those in South Asia, Southeast Asia and beyond, thus producing more exchanges and cooperative opportunities.” Yu said.

On first day of the online expo, reporters from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam praised Yunnan for its digitalization effort.
韩国CBS记者 安成镛：“在韩国，我们有类似的电视购物，但覆盖面、影响力远不如线上直播销售。云南的数字经济发展令人惊讶。”
South Korean reporter An Chengyong: “We have TV shopping, but its coverage and influence is far behind live-streaming sales. How fast digital economy grows in Yunnan.”
韩国《亚洲经济》记者李在镐：“在今天的活动上，我看到了一个充满科技感的云南。”
Another Korean reporter with Aju Business Daily said at the opening he saw a Yunnan full of technologies.
越南《人民报》记者杜微沙：“越南应当向中国学习，让电商产业更好地发展。”
Vietnamese reporter Do Vi Sa: “Vietnam can learn from China in e-commerce growth.” Do Vi Sa works at Nhân Dân.
马拉西亚《星报》记者马盈慧：“云南特色农产品交易平台——‘云品荟’所销售的商品，都经过政府质量把关，能够解除消费者的疑虑，让大家放心购物，这是很棒的尝试。”
Malaysian reporter Beh Yuen Hui said the Yunnan produces sold online were credible for most were examined by local authority. It’s a good trial.
《今日中国》杂志社记者麦高：“云南山区有着丰富的物产，直播带货能让山区特产通过直播间走进更多人的视野。”
“Products abound in Yunnan’s mountainous areas, and live streaming can make rural goods known to more people,” said Michael Z rate, a journalist with China Today.
